Language Arts
“Back to School” has never been more fun! Visit the Book Bonanza and you can learn more about Douglas County Libraries; Usborne Publishing will have all kinds of things for sale; and our own Ms. Holly will host periodic story times for little ones who need a break — kiddos can also make fun bookmarks to take home! We will also have a giant word game – think the lawn version of Scrabble!
Music
The Cake Walk is back! You know, it’s a bit like musical chairs — whoever is standing on the winning number when the music stops wins a scrumptious cake. We’ll have lots to choose from — including some Bundt Shoppe favorites — so there will be plenty of chances to win!
Zoology
We will once again have two human-sized, floating hamster balls. Just climb into one of the huge, floating spheres and run, jump, race and spin your way to tons of fun! We’re also going to have a Duck Pond for the little ones to win some prizes, and Party Safari is going to do live animal demonstrations!
Physical Education
Come learn some new Jedi martial arts moves, and let the little ones bounce around the Bouncy House!
Art
Sand art, anyone? Create colorful layers in your very own “Star Student” necklace or key chain to take home – or Back to School!
Chemistry
Mad Science will be providing everything you need to make your very own bouncy ball before you bounce to your next “subject” at the event!
Math
Test your addition skills with our giant dice set.
Physics
Can you figure out how to get your ball’s (matter) motion and behavior through space and time, combined with the perfect combination of energy and force to splash your teacher in the Splash Down?! You can also test your building and engineering skills at our Giant Jenga set, or see if you can launch a winning rocket at the Rocket Toss game and win a prize!
Practical Life
Practice your everyday life skills in typical Montessori fashion at our Plinko game, or at our new Bubble Station! Make or blow your own bubbles, and enjoy our bubble-making machine.
Cafeteria
No need to leave early to get dinner when you’ll have great dinner choices at The Back to School Bash — Papa John’s Pizza, Las Fajitas Taco Bar, and good ole’ hot dogs!
