Sarah Rogers
Board Member

Sarah has 14 years of combined hospital and Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Services experience, serving local communities as a firefighter, paramedic and finally as a critical care flight medic. Prior to taking a sabbatical, most recently working as a flight paramedic transporting critically ill & injured patients via rotor wing, fixed wing and ground transport team modality. Sarah has a daughter in lower elementary at DCS Montessori. She has served locally on community boards and served on local public commissions. She has been charged jointly with creating and presenting the first annual Speaking on Woman’s Health Symposium in Evergreen, CO focusing on Eastern and Western medicine function as well as co-leading many other community outreach health programs. Sarah has worked in collaboration with Colorado State Patrol to team teach defensive driving courses to emergency personnel. She has been married for 15 years to her husband Matt, and together they, with their daughter and two dogs, enjoy spending time as a tribe exploring and traveling Colorado and beyond. The Montessori philosophy has been enriching on many levels to Sarah and her family. She believes strongly in continuing to strengthen the DCS Montessori family within these walls of community.
